Your Mission

We are looking for a Product Designer to join the Design team at BlaBlaCar integrated in the Product Direction. You will work for the Platform hub and will contribute in building the best experience for all markets, aligning user needs, business needs and time-to-market delivery by translating high supply complexities and constraints into a seamless experience for our users. Some projects you'll work on: gamifying profile pages to boost completion, enhancing our in-app messaging with new features, revamping the sign-up and onboarding experiences, introducing advanced profile customization to bring more trust, and launching success badges to drive user engagement.


Reporting to the Lead Product Designer, you will be a key part of the Design Team composed of 14 talented designers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with Engineers, PMs, Researchers, Content designers, PMMs and our Design System Manager. Our product discovery approach is based on the FOCUSED methodology and our design system PIXAR is a key part of our delivery process.


Your Responsibilities
  • Problem Definition & Data-informed Design: Collaborate with the PM and research teams to define clear user problems, leveraging data and user insights to inform design decisions and continuously improve solutions.
  • End-to-End Design: Lead the design process from concept to QA, delivering high-fidelity prototypes and leveraging the design system for consistency and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between design, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and continuous feedback loops.
  • Benchmarking & Innovation: Apply market benchmarks and best practices to drive innovation and ensure designs are competitive.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and refine designs based on performance, user feedback, and evolving market trends.


Your Qualifications
  • 4+ years of user experience design across mobile, web, and desktop applications, with strategic leadership experience.
  • End-to-end expertise: Ability to simplify complex user journeys into scalable, intuitive, and delightful experiences.
  • Information Architecture: Mastery in organizing and structuring information for intuitive navigation across diverse markets.
  • Data-driven design: Expertise in user research, A/B testing, and using data to inform and iterate on design solutions.
  • Content & Visual Design: Create cohesive, intuitive interfaces while adhering to brand and content guidelines.
  • Communication & storytelling: Effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders, and incorporate feedback.
  • Fluent in English.
