Industrial Designer

Braiins is a pioneer in the bitcoin mining industry, creating cutting-edge hardware and software solutions that empower miners around the world. We are now venturing into the development of home mining hardware, where design and functionality come together to create seamless user experiences.

We are seeking an Industrial Designer to collaborate with our internal team in shaping the aesthetics, ergonomics, and functional design of our next-generation bitcoin mining products. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on how bitcoin mining integrates into everyday environments.

What does the position look like

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering and product management) to conceptualize and design enclosures for home bitcoin mining hardware.

  • Develop visually appealing, ergonomic, and functional designs that align with Braiins’ brand identity and resonate with home miners.

  • Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to present design concepts and refine them based on feedback.

  • Ensure designs comply with technical requirements, including thermal management and manufacturability.

  • Research materials and manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effective and sustainable production.

  • Stay updated with design trends, user needs, and emerging technologies relevant to home electronics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial design, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative product designs that balance aesthetics and functionality.

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling - CAD and rendering software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot).

  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, mold injection technology and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).

  • Knowledge of thermal and acoustic design considerations for electronics is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing products that integrate seamlessly into home environments.
