Description

We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven Director of Growth to lead C Speed’s strategic growth initiatives across the U.S. Government, Defense, and Homeland sectors. This individual will play a critical role in driving market expansion, cultivating long-term customer relationships, and ensuring our technology solutions address evolving mission needs.

The Director of Growth will collaborate closely with senior leadership, business development, product, and engineering teams to position C Speed as a trusted technology partner across key mission areas.

 

• Growth Leadership: Cultivate a defined and actionable growth strategy that supports U.S. government and allied mission needs.

• Opportunity Identification: Actively identify and qualify new business opportunities in priority mission areas, including emerging programs, R&D initiatives, and technology modernization efforts.

• Customer Retention & Expansion: Develop strategies to deepen customer partnerships, anticipate evolving mission requirements, and expand our role as a long-term technology partner.

• Capture & Proposal Strategy: Work closely with Capture and Proposal teams to shape and pursue opportunities.

• Internal Alignment: Serve as a critical bridge between external stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring that our solutions, products, engineering, and delivery priorities are aligned with mission needs.

• Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage teaming agreements, subcontractor relationships, and other strategic partnerships to support growth objectives.

• Market Intelligence & Positioning: Maintain situational awareness of defense and intelligence priorities, budget cycles, policy changes, and competitive landscape.

• Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure growth performance and inform leadership decisions.

Requirements

Qualifications


• 7+ years of experience in growth, business development, capture, or strategic partnerships within the defense, intelligence, or government technology sector.

• Understanding of U.S. government acquisition processes, mission stakeholder environments, and technology adoption cycles.

• Proven track record of supporting or leading successful government growth initiatives, including contract wins and revenue expansion.

• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build long-term, trust-based relationships.

• Strong strategic thinking, operational execution, and leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with DoD, IC, DHS, or other mission-driven agencies.

• Familiarity with contracting vehicles such as IDIQs, OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and GSA schedules.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at senior levels within both government and industry.

• Active U.S. Security Clearance preferred (or ability to obtain).

• Experience in advanced technology sectors such as software, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, C5ISR, or data analytics is highly desirable.
