Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our three entities (German GmbH, UK Ltd, and US Inc). This is a unique opportunity for a senior finance professional seeking a part-time role (3-4 days per week) with significant responsibility and international exposure.
Lead the financial operations across our three international entities in Germany, UK and US.
Manage and oversee the Microsoft Dynamics ERP/Accounting system for all entities
Perform consolidated accounting and reporting across international operations
Supervise and consult with remote regional accounting teams to handle day-to-day bookkeeping
Execute monthly reconciliations and closing procedures across all entities
Manage international payment processes and cash flow
Establish and maintain group-wide accounting policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting requirements across US GAAP
Oversee internal audit and external processes and maintain strong internal controls
Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models
Liaise with external accountants and advisors across jurisdictions
Professional accounting qualification: German Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP) or Steuerberater, preferably combined with US CPA or UK ACCA/ACA
7+ years of experience in international accounting and finance
Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel skills
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and German HGB accounting principles
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
Experience working with international teams
Background in managing multi-entity consolidations
Experience in developing and maintaining robust internal controls and compliance frameworks for international operations
Experience in scaling financial operations in growing companies
Competitive part-time salary (€75,000 - €90,000 based on 3-4 days/week)
