UI/UX Designer

Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for UI/UX Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

This position is located at a client site in Plano, TX or Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and develop user interfaces for Salesforce applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand user requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the developed solutions meet business requirements and user needs.
Document and report UAT findings, and work with developers to resolve any issues.
Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years' experience.
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and familiarity with UAT processes and methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.


Education:


Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.








CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,600.0 - $165,300.00
