UI/UX Designer

The Company

Our client is a Swiss longevity startup with the vision to become the leading player in the evidence-based longevity supplement industry. They offer science-based longevity supplements to target multiple hallmarks of ageing, allowing individuals to improve their well-being by slowing down ageing itself. Their mission is to optimise people's health- and lifespan, helping them keep or regain their vitality to live as healthily as possible for as long as possible.

The Role

As UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in building and managing our client's visual appearance on their key selling tool - their website. You will work with their Product Manager and Head of Product to design and evolve a website that transmits their brand's message and is optimised for conversion.

The Responsibilities

  • Create digital assets for web, landing pages and email newsletters.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Create HTML5 assets for email, display banner and website.
  • Responsive image adaptations for the website and digital products.
  • Translate user research and insights, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
  • Partner closely with Marketing (Brand and Creative) to ensure designs are on-brand and are in alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Develop responsive web designs that are visually appealing and optimised for conversion.
  • Work with the Growth team to come up with new design variations, AB test them and implement learnings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • 1+ years of proven work experience designing UX and UI and visual design for ecommerce brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design or related field preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual assets for premium brands.
  • Proficiency in Figma. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva a plus.
  • Experience with Shopify a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of website design principles and best practices, up-to-date with the latest web design trends.
  • Willingness to think beyond esthetics and cooperatively working on solutions that drive actual conversions.
  • A keen interest in wellness, health, supplements and longevity and/or the willingness to learn more about the industry.
