Research, Development and Engineering (RDE) Internship

As a Research, Development and Engineering (RDE) Intern at ChampionX, you will be immersed in hands-on projects that drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on new development initiatives, interpreting experimental data to communicate results effectively, and providing laboratory support while performing routine test methods. Additionally, you’ll develop written reports and deliver oral presentations to share your findings and recommendations with senior management.

To be eligible for the RDE Internship position at ChampionX, candidates must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited educational program, preferably having completed at least two to three years of study. A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering is essential. Strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities are also preferred attributes that enhance your application.

During your RDE internship at ChampionX, you’ll work on a variety of strategic projects that may involve the development of new products from existing raw materials or novel synthesis developments. You’ll collaborate with scientists with diverse expertise, perform technical assessments of products, and contribute toward operational excellence by identifying and solving problems with innovative solutions.
