As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Schwab, you have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. The first foray int o the path towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, the IC role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space. You’l l learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions. You’ll observe our skilled FCs and learn how to deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring. Required Qualifications:  

 

  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)   
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)   
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)   

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

 

  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry  
  • Ability to leverage Business development experience  
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services  
  • Openness to build strong client relationships
