Citibank, N.A. seeks a Corporate Salesperson for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Advise corporate clients on all aspects of foreign exchange (FX) risk management, including the buying and selling of FX spot forward and derivative contracts. Drive the team's strategy across specified product lines and aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise. Originate and execute episodic transactions, including Deal contingent trades, in collaboration with our private side FX team. Work within business product to achieve the strategic growth and market share. Collaborate with other key businesses and functions, including banking, transaction services, trading, risk and credit to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of clients. Manage Corporate FX client relationships with key Canadian accounts, subsidiaries of US and foreign muti-nationals in Canada as well as US based Insurance companies and execute client FX flow. Assist clients in managing inherent FX risk associated with day-to-day domestic and emerging markets, and provide clients with in-depth economic market analysis and research. Provide risk advisory to top tier multinational corporate clients and insights into cross asset and FX client solutions, including Value at Risk, backtesting, and exotic options. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Sales and Trading Program Analyst, Corporate Salesperson, Sales and Trading Associate, or related position involving foreign exchange sales and risk management for a global bank. At least three (3) years of experience must include: Foreign exchange pricing and execution across multiple product types and trading centers to facilitate client deals; Calculating Credit exposure including CVA, RWA and SACCR concepts to meet adequate returns; Financial markets analysis with focus on foreign exchange, geopolitics, macro-economic trends across the globe; Knowledge of single bank digital FX solutions focused on automation and efficiency. At least one (1) year of experience must include: Advising corporate clients on foreign exchange strategies, including forwards, NDF’s, options and exotic options; Relationship management with large cap corporate clients across both Canada and US, as well as subsidiaries based in Canada; Accounting and analysis of financial statements to evaluate financial health and exposure to identify hedging opportunities; Managing pipelines to onboard new clients and grow existing client base.
