The VP, Partner Management Lead Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within the digital field and contributes to the digital strategy by considering their application in their own job and across the broader business. Recognized technical authority for digital functionality within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues across other internal areas and external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables across multiple roles and phases within our Software Development Life Cycle. Provides advice and counsel related to digital technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a key liaison with the Partner and will be responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the portfolio in the digital channel, ensuring that marketing and financial/business plans are delivered, and the Partner relationship is strengthened.
Identify and implement strategic initiatives to drive profitable sales growth and new account acquisition.
Develop and execute strategic/tactical initiatives to improve business performance.
Create innovative and appealing product concepts and communications.
Analyze program results to improve performance and profitability.
Develop and maintain marketing strategies with Partner and internal resources.
Create and manage task plans to accomplish business plan objectives.
Financial planning and forecasting - ensure plan is achieved and recognize, anticipate and create solutions to address financial shortfalls.
Develop and maintain positive internal business relationships.
Establish and maintain positive business relationships within the Partner’s retail, digital, and financial services organizational structures.
Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison between the Partner and Citi internal operational, digital and functional areas.
Consistently deliver quality customer and Partner experiences.
Build organizational consensus in support of the Partner.
Maintain contract compliance including reporting requirements and service level agreements.
Manage monthly Partner reporting.
Actively contribute to and participate in Partner Monthly Business Reviews
Assist in the creation and management of project plans for digital initiatives, including incentives, contests, and application building strategies. Establish Business Requirements, align Partner requirements, and ensure that technical solutions align with both Business and Partner requirements.
Actively contribute and participate in all Pricing projects, including the alignment with the Partner for all digital changes and testing requirements
Manage digital monitoring and controls
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years relevant experience; must have experience in marketing, product or project management and client/relationship management experience.
Private label credit or bankcard industry experience preferred.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
High-energy, self-motivated individual with the ability to drive results with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountability.
Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration at all levels of the organization.
Forward thinker with the flexibility to adapt to and drive change in a dynamic business environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
