E11 Bio is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to help develop next-generation expansion microscopy technology for a neuroscience moonshot. You will help our scientists with developing new chemistries for tissue preparation at the scale of the mammalian brain, and have opportunities to hone your skills in material chemistry and fluorescent microscopy.

In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to develop next-generation expansion microscopy technology, working alongside passionate experts in the field. Your main responsibilities will include designing and executing experiments independently, running multi-round readout experiments involving various techniques such as immunostaining and signal extinction, and collaborating with both experimental and computational scientists to shape experiments and analyze data. Though we require some foundational knowledge in molecular biology techniques, we also encourage candidates with specific experience in optical microscopy, computational tools, and engineering backgrounds to apply.
