The Project Engineer is responsible for Design, Implementation and Qualification of membrane manufacturing equipment . Which includes component and vender selection as well as contractor supervision.

This position reports to the Project Engineering Leader and is part of the Advanced Engineering Group located in Pensacola, Florida. and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Design, including vender management of membrane manufacturing equipment
  • Work with a team of engineers to collaborate at start up and qualification of manufacturing equipment
  • Generate essential drawings and documentation for fabrication and installation of manufacturing equipment
  • Assist with Management of Change (MOC) process

Who you are:

  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals as typically acquired by completion of a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, engineering technology, or other engineering subject area however technically equivalent field experience would also be a great option for this position
  • Proficiency in the use of the latest versions of the following software packages or equivalent: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in AutoCAD, any version (required) and experience in 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on the final product
  • Comply with OSHA and local safety regulations

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel - 10% , in supporting other Cytiva manufacturing sites and well as FAT's
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Healthcare manufacturing
  • General manufacturing
