Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging team is looking for an intern who is enthusiastic about packaging innovation and contributing to Amazon's efforts to move towards more sustainable packaging. As an intern on the team, you will work with some of the most talented engineers to reinvent and simplify our packaging options, for example, in areas such as eliminating packaging, reducing plastics, and improving recyclability while ensuring products arrive safely to our customers.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Science, Engineering, Packaging, or related discipline with an expected graduation after December 2025
- Must be eligible for and available for a full-time (40 hours per week) internship in 2025
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
- Experience and interest in packaging innovation and industrial design engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, manage multiple tasks and deal with ambiguity
- Proficiency using business/technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, CAD software
