  • Autobahn is the Deutsche Bank’s digital platform for Corporate and Investment bank, enabling seamless delivery of 800 core business services to more than 200000 internal & external users through UI and API channels. Autobahn is continuously recognised by the clients as state-of-the-art product with multiple industry awards over recent years. Consolidated architectural vision and technical execution creates significant efficiencies for Deutsche Bank and consolidates strong technology expertise across multiple groups and teams.
  • Creating user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs that strike a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, while always considering the needs of both the client and the end-users, to deliver exceptional user experiences. Producing a wide range of design deliverables such as conceptual layouts, wireframes, components, prototypes, development-ready specifications, and design system assets. Effectively presenting your work to external clients and partners, providing clear explanations of your design process and the reasoning behind your decisions. Conducting thorough design testing throughout projects and leveraging the data obtained to constantly enhance products and services. To excel in this role, it is crucial to possess a strong command of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, branding, and design systems. Previous experience in leading product discoveries and working efficiently within Agile sprint cycles and product development environments is highly advantageous. Proficiency in design applications such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc. is essential. Additionally, experience in organising and facilitating design-focused workshops involving stakeholders and end-users is valuable. Lastly, incorporating web accessibility standards (WCAG) into design testing and utilising data to continuously improve products and services is a key aspect of this position.
  • As a UX Designer, you will possess a high level of proficiency in design applications. You will excel in conducting design-focused workshops with stakeholders and end-users. Additionally, you will have a portfolio showcasing your ability to generate innovative concepts for digital services. Collaboration with developers, technical architects, user researchers, and product owners will also be a key aspect of your role.

Your key responsibilities

  • Adhering and contributing to the Autobahn Design Pattern Library components and standards, we can further evolve the design language. It is important to understand how the Agile methodology is applied throughout the entire UX and development process.
  • As a UX professional, it is crucial to provide thought-leadership, coaching, mentorship, and guidance within the project team and across the business. This involves investigating user experience design requirements with a user-centered approach based on customer insights.
  • Making strategic UX decisions is a key responsibility, especially when it comes to core and new functions, features, and iterations. This requires asking smart questions, taking risks, and championing new ideas. Collaboration with stakeholders and running workshops is essential in this process.
  • To deliver high-quality UX design solutions, it is important to create user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes. Rigorous analysis of business and customer needs, along with considering potential design options, is crucial in this process.
  • Ensuring that the layout, composition, and information architecture of products and product features are clear and consistent across all devices is essential. This helps to expose the underlying functionality in a user-friendly manner.

  • Possessing an unwavering determination and a deep passion for the creation and development of exceptional products.
  • Proficient in applying the Agile methodology throughout the entire UX and development process, with a keen understanding of designing components.
  • Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively. Comfortable in establishing and leading consistent design standards and experience libraries, while incorporating brand language into UI work.
  • Exhibiting strong multitasking and time-management abilities, with a capability for prioritising tasks. Works closely with Product Managers, Commercial and Development Teams to continuously enhance the product within a collaborative cross-functional team environment. A team player who can also work independently and support strategic development.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation, including interactive play-books, UX documentation, site architecture, wireframes, use cases, and task flows, to be utilised by the team.
