What you’ll do
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Migration Specialist to lead and execute enterprise-level software and data migrations. In this role, you will play a critical part in transitioning software, tools, and data across platforms, ensuring seamless integration and the retention of vital information. Your primary focus will be on migrating systems for newly acquired companies and transitioning tools within the organization.

The bits and bytes that you’ll bring to your new team:

  • Manage the end-to-end migration of software and data from one platform to another, including enterprise-grade tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and MDM systems.

  • Lead the migration of tools and data for company acquisitions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, configure, and implement migration strategies effectively.

  • Identify and resolve technical challenges during the migration process.

  • Optimize system configurations while adhering to organizational standards and requirements.

  • Provide administrative expertise and support for tools involved in the migration process.

You're the Engineer We're Looking for if You:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT as a Migration Engineer, Automation Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, or similar role, with at least 3+ years specializing in software and data migration.

  • Proven expertise in migrating tools and data within a technical environment, including email suites, Slack, Jira, and MDM systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in migrating system data, deprecating legacy systems, and configuring new systems.

  • Extensive experience managing multiple migration projects and customizing data or information transfers between systems, particularly at an enterprise level.

Extra brownie points if you:

  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade tiers of tools and their specific configurations.

  • Experience collaborating with third-party service providers specializing in tech stack migrations.

  • Knowledge of Kandji or similar MDM tools.

  • Creative problem-solving skills to address unique challenges in enterprise migrations.
