Cybersecurity SME

Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and execute cyber security strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals. The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing our information security posture and will be responsible for the assessment and management of cyber risks associated with our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices and solutions.
  • Assess current cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls, and recommend improvements to align with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness training programs for staff to enhance overall security mindfulness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Lead incident response efforts, ensuring compliance with established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and proactive measures.
  • Prepare analyses and reports that communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS controls.

Skills and Abilities:
