WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the operating room and surgical instruments.
Assist with the positioning of patients and provide necessary supplies for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver optimal patient care.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and families as needed.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; CNOR certification is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
