Role Overview:

The Enrollment Representative is responsible for processing and maintaining member enrollments for Medicare, Employer Group, and Individual health plans. This includes verifying eligibility, entering application data, updating member records, and resolving discrepancies in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Accurately process member applications for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Employer Group, and Individual health plans.
  • Review enrollment forms for completeness and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., CMS, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Perform data entry and updates in enrollment systems to reflect new enrollments, terminations, and changes in coverage.
  • Verify member eligibility and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely activation.
  • Resolve enrollment issues and discrepancies through research and outreach to applicants, brokers, or group administrators.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audit readiness.
  • Assist with special projects, system testing, and audits as needed.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and internal policy updates related to enrollment
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or college coursework preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in health plan enrollment, healthcare administration, or insurance operations.
  • Experience with enrollment systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and/or ACA enrollment guidelines preferred.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
