Senior Coordinator

Job Description

  • Perform and manage all technical job duties which includes delegating daily work to the associates
  • Provide a detailed hand off daily between shifts
  • Manage associate’s activities through EWM parameters to maintain a continuous flow of tasks, removing bottlenecks, assisting and/or redirecting personnel to achieve a smooth orderly transition of work
  • Manage quarterly department performance
  • Train new Coordinators and/or specialty job associates
  • Ensure compliance of handling special identified customer processing requests
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager and Coach to plan, develop, and refine programs to meet or exceed total customer satisfaction objectives
  • Support and help build positive relationships within the team
  • Take the lead on new process planning and testing
  • Communicate with project leaders (Corporate and/or Local) regarding testing results, roadblocks
  • Maintain a proactive attitude toward analyzing and detecting problems and working toward their ultimate solution
  • Have a general understanding of all warehouse departments
  • Define new processes and enforce SOP processes on a daily basis
  • Support Change Management activities within the LVDC
  • Participate in events related to 5S, Kaizen and Lean 101 and promote their principles
  • Be an active member of the DC Safety Committee. Ensure all facility safety rules and regulations are followed and all violations are reported immediately
  • Lead the facility Quality audit program

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and 5+ years related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of credibility
  • Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office functions such as word, excel and outlook
  • Ability to function in WMS such as SAP
  • Demonstrate the understanding of RDT terminals and handheld equipment 
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to problem solve
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $52,050 USD - $61,776 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
