We are seeking a Mechanical Equipment Engineer to join our team supporting the Savannah River Site! This position is full-time and will be based out of Aiken, SC.
Responsibilities
Work with an engineering team to support the preparation/review of design changes for multiple waste treatment facilities.
Writing procurement specifications for mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, vessels and some piping.
Perform detailed design and analysis of mechanical equipment as part of design team. Equipment includes:
containment systems,
material handling equipment, and
process piping & equipment.
Support waste treatment facilities.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of equipment design experience.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
