Redhat Linux Systems Administrator

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Role and Position Objectives: Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! You'll work with a diverse team managing enterprise systems, specialized Linux OS, cross-domain solutions, and boundary devices. Relocation assistance is available.

 

What You’ll Experience:

  • Hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Engaging with cross-domain and boundary device solutions.
  • Providing top-notch customer service.
  • Managing enterprise-level solutions and re-imaging workstations, servers, and peripherals.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration.
  • Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in managing cross-domain solutions.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $103,254.00 - USD $111,724.00 /Yr.
