Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.Responsibilities:Bridge the gap between business needs and technical vendor solutions, focusing on creation, refinement and management of documentation related to AI-driven products and solutionsGather requirements, ensure epics and stories support the product roadmaps and ensuring AI documentation and data algorithms are accurate and align to the client's governance policies and templatesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for AI initiativesDefine and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needsDevelop comprehensive documentation for AI models, algorithms, and data processes, making complex concepts accessible to non-technical stakeholdersFacilitate communication between business users, data scientists, developers, and other cross-functional teamsCreate user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications to guide development and testing effortsLead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of AI-related projectsEnsure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical guidelines in AI documentationMonitor AI product performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvementProvide training and support to business users on AI tools, workflows, and documentation practicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role, preferably in AI or technology-focused projectsProven experience in creating, managing, and updating technical documentation for AI productsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban teamsProficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platformsFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts, data analysis, and cloud-based solutionsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business documentationExperience with natural language processing (NLP) and AI model lifecycle managementKnowledge of data governance, security and compliance in AI implementationsFamiliarity with API documentation and integration processesCertification in Agile (SAFe, POPM)Desired skills:Commercial Card domain expertiseExperience with TSYS mainframeOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!About Genesis10:Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
