Phlebotomist Needed in Sherrill, New York

We’re looking for a well-trained Phlebotomist to join our Urgent Care Center. In this role, you’ll be responsible for drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout the procedure. If you have strong technical skills and a patient-first attitude, we’d love to hear from you!

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Patient Volume: 20-25 Patients per day

What You’ll Do:

  • Collect blood samples from patients following proper techniques and safety protocols
  • Label, store, and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions before, during, and after 
  • procedures
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records in the clinic’s system
  • Prepare and sanitize equipment to maintain a sterile environment
  • Work closely with healthcare providers and lab technicians to ensure timely sample 
  • processing
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred or relevant training/experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, urgent care, or laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
