As our in-territory sales team grows, we will be looking for a seasoned Account Executive who is always on the hunt! You target businesses in critical need of modern technology solutions to achieve more revenue growth, greater scalability, and better efficiencies in productivity. You consistently demonstrate self-leadership, discipline in your craft, and a high sense of urgency to deliver amazing experiences to your clients and prospects. Traveling is a large part of this position – you will visit AWS offices in your territory, events, and trainings.
Responsible for:
· Develop and manage client relationships, and establish a deep and ongoing understanding of their business goals, challenges, and future needs
· Engage in-person at the AWS offices three times per week (Chicago and Seattle, interchanging every week) to build and nurture strong relationships with AWS teams, fostering collaboration and identifying new sales opportunities.
· Leverage a deep understanding of each client’s industry to identify and qualify forward-thinking and high-impact opportunities
· Collaborate with the internal technical teams to develop solutions that exceed client expectations
· Proactively prospect new opportunities using various lead generation tools and tactics (yes, cold calling still works!)
· Ensure the client has an amazing experience all the way through the sales cycle (listen, engage, and follow up)
· Drive effective quote, proposal, and presentation delivery, and manage the overall opportunity process
· Maintain ongoing sales funnel report with timely and accurate information
· Be an active sales team member who contributes to the sales team goals (quota achievement and participation in team meetings and ideation sessions)
· Maintain an active social media presence (at least two active sources)

What experience you need (degree, experience, specific skills, etc):
· 5+ years in a sales capacity role, 2+ in an Account Executive role
· A strong understanding of relationship building, pipeline building, and closing
***Must have experience in the AWS Ecosystem and preexisting AWS relationships
