Role Purpose:
The EHS Director is responsible for leading all Environment, Health & Safety activities for the establishment and start up of our new site at Reading, UK (Project Falcon).
Reporting to the End to End Leader, the EHS Director is a member of the Falcon Project Leadership Team; working in close collaboration with the core project team (manufacturing, capital, quality and business readiness leads), the Slough Site EHS team and the EHS Business Partner for Integrated Biologics, as well as Operations functions they ensure that:

At Lonza, we’re searching for a passionate and driven Director of EHS to join our incredible team in Slough, UK, playing a pivotal role in our exciting Project Falcon that involves the establishment of a brand-new facility in Reading. As the Director of EHS, you'll lead all Environment, Health & Safety activities, ensuring that our site meets stringent regulatory EHS standards and helps us achieve our commitment to safety and sustainability. You will be working closely with various teams—including the Falcon Project Leadership Team—bringing together your expertise to foster a culture of excellence in EHS. Your talent will shine as you provide high-quality technical leadership while aligning operational perspectives with stakeholder needs. You'll manage the development and approval of essential EHS documentation and collaborate on construction plans to ensure safe practices are in place from the get-go.
