Field Marketing Intern

Hello from Loop! We’re a fast-growing company that is revolutionizing the post-purchase experience. We've taken one of the most fragile commerce interactions - returns - and turned it into something consumers actually love, and that deepens our connection to brands and products.

About Loop Marketing

Marketing at Loop is about being relatable to e-commerce brands. Providing ongoing value and connection that leads people to love our brand, love our product, and become and remain a customer. The team is changing the way brands look at returns and turning that into demand for the sales team.

Field marketing is a marketing approach that focuses on building relationships and generating leads through direct, face-to-face interactions with customers and prospects. It encompasses a range of activities, such as planning and executing events and participating in industry conferences to create engaging brand experiences.

About the role

Loop is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part time Field Marketing Intern (20 hours per week) to join our Growth Marketing Team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in field marketing and contribute to the success of various company events. The intern will work closely with the Field Marketing Department, supporting various stages of the event lifecycle, from initial concept to post-event analysis.

Growth Marketing Instead of just doing the same old marketing, growth marketing uses data to try out lots of different things quickly. It's about testing and learning to find the best ways to get and keep customers and make the business grow fast.

Key Concepts:

Brand Awareness: The extent to which consumers are familiar with the qualities or image of a particular brand.

Lead Generation: The process of attracting and converting potential customers into leads, who have shown interest in our products or services.

Buyers Journey Nurturing: Guiding potential customers through their purchase decision. It involves strategically delivering relevant, personalized experiences and content across various channels to optimize acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue at each stage of the buyer's journey.

For our Field Marketing Internship opportunity, we would love for our interns to be located in Columbus and have the ability to go into our office a couple of times a week to enhance their internship experience and create in-person connections with other interns and those at Loop.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of field marketing events.
  • Support the creation of event materials and promotional content.
  • Provide logistical support, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, and registration management.
  • Manage swag selection, ordering, inventory, and shipping for events.
  • Assist with post-event follow-up and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Experience:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps, familiarity with Canva, Hubspot or Salesforce a plus!
  • A passion for event marketing and the e-commerce industry.
