Divisional Finance Manager

Job Summary

Job Description

Provide and lead financial decision support with business partners and research and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior management.  Manage 1 direct report supporting product divisions. Lead and oversee financial reporting among the financial analysis team and support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting the FA team.

  • Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis and meet with Division General Managers to communicate their net results.  Communicate key drivers in regards to the full financial profit and loss statement (sales, GM, customer drivers, adjustments, etc.).

  • Lead quarterly forecast processes for divisions by collaborating across the organization and owning financial model.

  • Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

  • Oversee and manage the financial reporting among the financial analysis team. - Support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting the FA team.

  • Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.

  • Conduct and lead monthly financial business reviews with Divisions and other senior management.

  • Provide specialized expertise through leading special projects and financial reviews.  Lead special projects within the financial analysis and reporting team to drive process improvement and consistency.

  • Serve as backup to the Director of Financial Analysis.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • At least 5 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.

  • Experience contributing to strategic decision-making and goal-setting initiatives.

  • Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.

  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.

  • Willing to travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
