Our Story: We are a physician and engineer from Yale and MIT, respectively. We founded theMednet after our father, also a physician, was diagnosed with cancer and we realized how difficult it was to know what to do when the answers are not found in textbooks, guidelines, or papers, but rather trapped in the heads of experts. We created theMednet to document expert knowledge and give physicians everywhere access to that knowledge.

Our Mission: Help physicians access expert knowledge to improve patient outcomes. theMednet is the first ever platform that delivers large-scale peer-to-peer education to community physicians with actionable insights back to pharma in one single offering. TheMednet was started in 2014 and includes over 37,000 physicians in oncology, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology, pulmonology, cardiology, and nephrology with more coming soon. JOB DESCRIPTION

A Client Solutions Manager will work closely with our business development team and physicians on our medical team to develop and deliver projects with our pharmaceutical and biotech partners. You will serve as a partner to the Sales team, responsible for developing and expanding new business opportunities with the customer and prospects. You will lead and coordinate client interactions for the team. You will partner with cross functional colleagues to drive solution development that meet complex client business issues. 

We’re looking for someone with 4+ years of life sciences or consulting experience who is proactive, completes tasks with efficiency and attention to detail, and is passionate about improving health-education and equity.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client objectives and strategic goals

  • Collaborate cross-functionally between Sales and Medical Teams to fully develop solutions that address client objectives

  • Manage and assist in the creation of project proposals, including scope, methodology, and timeline

  • Take ownership of report generation and delivery, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and actionable insights

  • Prepare and lead client interactions and presentations

  • Oversee project execution from kickoff through final delivery including managing timelines, tracking engagement, etc. 

  • Review / manage pipeline; elevate new business opportunities for follow-on work and identify new revenue opportunities with existing and new client organizations

  • Support sales by attending industry conferences

  • Train and mentor junior staff on project teams 

Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of life-sciences experience, preferably in a client-facing role.

  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills 

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking 

  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends and regulations

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects concurrently

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) 

  • Masters Degree in a science related field preferred

Our office is in Manhattan so living within a commutable distance to NYC is strongly preferred.
