Position Description:
Provide key reliability engineering expertise within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Post Market Quality organization. Understand and improve product performance monitoring, issue coordination, and continuation engineering for implantable products (pacemakers and defibrillators). Analyze complex issues considering reliability statistics using large datasets, utilizing visualization and statistical tools such as Spotfire, JMP, and reliasoft. Define failure rate models for field performance monitoring, trending, and issue escalation. Collaborate with Reliability group to determine Failure modes utilizing Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). Create reliability and statistical models. Use project mgmt. skills to collaborate with cross-functional group to coordinate Failure Reporting and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Systems. Track product performance in reporting tools like Spotfire, Tableau, SAS. Access queries in various databases in SAP, SQL, and Oracle. Present engineering and statistical findings from technical reports. Position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. #LI-DNI.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters’ Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or related engineering field and two (2) years of experience as a quality or reliability engineer or related occupation; or alternatively a Bachelors’ Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or related engineering field and five (5) years of experience as a quality or reliability engineer or related occupation. Must possess at least two (2) years’ experience with each of the following: Visualization and reliability statistical tools; Creating reliability and statistical models; FMEA and CAPA; Spotfire, Tableau, or SAS; Accessing queries in SAP, SQL and Oracle; and presenting engineering and statistical findings from technical reports.
Salary: $128,100 to $152,400 per year
