Description

OCH Technologies is looking for a Technical Recruiter to facilitate full-cycle recruitment. The Technical Recruiter will perform recruiting efforts to fill IT positions while assisting the People Operations team in departmental and company-wide initiatives.


Location

Hybrid Remote: Sterling, VA (Once a week)


Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment, including writing job postings, sourcing and interviewing candidates, providing recommendations for hire, and conducting reference checks.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines and networks.
  • Leverage technology and data, including social media, job boards, and internal applicant tracking system (ATS), to identify and attract candidates.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss open positions and strategic approach.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support RFP efforts.
  • Provide regular progress updates on pipeline metrics and suggest improvements to processes and outcomes, with emphasis on scalability and quality.
  • Provide assistance in departmental and company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in technical, human resources, or similar field of study OR four (4) years of experience in addition to minimum experience requirements.


Experience

  • 3+ years of technical recruitment experience in a government contracting environment
  • Knowledge of digital, traditional, and innovative sourcing tools and channels.
  • Understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Paylocity and Smartsheet
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other candidate sourcing methods/platforms

  • Motivated and adaptive team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and execute work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
