The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, financial reporting, and maintaining relevant accounting policies and procedures. This role will report to the Accounting Manager and will offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial success and growth.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and completion of financial reporting deliverables, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement analysis.
Apply and maintain accounting policies, internal controls and procedures to support close requirements while efficiently scaling with business needs.
Support Cash, Accruals, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Leases, Partner Fees, and ASC 606 Commissions accounting processes.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed to ensure a smooth month-end close accounting process.
Collaborate cross-functionally and support our business partners, including FP&A, by providing financial insights and relevant reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounting procedures and support initiatives to implement enhancements.
Ad hoc projects as required.
BA degree in accounting required
3+ years of experience is required
Good understanding of financial statements and reporting requirements required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Experience in accounting for Accruals, Prepaids, and Fixed Assets is preferred
Experience within Tech industry is preferred
CPA or working towards becoming a CPA preferred
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
