Blockchains face major hurdles—from throughput bottlenecks and data propagation inefficiencies to sluggish read/write latency and bloated storage overhead. These issues slow down networks, inflate node costs, and result in suboptimal user experience.
Optimum delivers fast data propagation and decentralized RAM across the Web3 networks.
Optimum is chain-agnostic, enabling node operators for any network to connect via simple API call to supercharge their data propagation, resulting in lower latency, lower operational costs, enhanced staking APY and higher MEV income.
Optimum is powered by Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC), which encodes, transmits and decodes data. RLNC not only reduces latency and bandwidth waste but also enables protocols that guarantee wait-free, atomic read/write operations for a consistent and responsive read/write.
RLNC was invented at MIT by Professor Muriel Medard, with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, now also a co-founder of Optium.
This breakthrough technology underpins our system, ensuring efficient, resilient, and low-latency performance that sets new industry benchmarks.
Next up? Optimum testnet will go live soon.
We are seeking a Devrel with a strong focus on interfacing between an advanced technical team and node operators and L1/L2s for low-latency optimizations and decentralized systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in being a devrel in the Web3 space. Familiarity with blockchain technology and concepts is essential.
