Sr Field Sales Partner

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom client solutions utilizing Yahoo’s full stack service, including but not limited to Display ad, Native, and Search advertising.

  • Quarterback a cross-functional account team and serve as the primary contact for our clients and agency partners.

  • Develop strategic plans to achieve and/or exceed target revenue goals

  • Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Yahoo resources to meet not only advertising needs but overarching business needs

  • Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they are related to the growth of current and prospective client accounts

  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry, including developing innovations in various display ad formats, programmatic, etc.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or similar education

  • Relevant professional experience in digital media or ad tech.

  • Demonstrated partnerships with key accounts/media agencies and proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients

  • Deep understanding of the digital media industry with the ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data and research

  • History of selecting appropriate products from a diverse product arsenal to solve the client’s advertising objectives; ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors
