Senior Partner Marketing Manager

What We Are Looking For

Puzzle is redefining how companies navigate and leverage their financials. Our cutting-edge accounting software seamlessly integrates with modern fintech tools, offering founders and finance teams a real-time, holistic view of their financial landscape. Our mission: empower entrepreneurs with insights and tools to make confident, data-driven decisions.

In just our first few years, we've built powerful partnerships with industry leaders like Ramp, Brex, and Mercury, making our partner channel one of our fastest-growing revenue drivers.

Now, we're looking for a founding Senior Partner Marketing Manager to take our thriving partnership ecosystem to the next level. You'll join at a pivotal moment, as our partnerships with leaders like Rippling, Deel, and Y Combinator are scaling rapidly and new opportunities are emerging weekly. This isn't just about managing existing relationships – it's about building and executing a comprehensive partner marketing strategy that will become a cornerstone of Puzzle's growth.

Working directly with our Head of Product Marketing, you'll have the autonomy to shape our partner marketing function from the ground up. You'll be the driving force behind campaigns that not only strengthen our existing partnerships but also unlock new channels for growth. Whether it's crafting compelling co-marketing initiatives, developing partner enablement programs, or identifying new collaboration opportunities, your work will directly impact Puzzle's trajectory.

This is your chance to join a well-funded startup led by an accomplished fintech founder. Join us remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada and help us build a thriving partnerships program.

What You'll Do

  • Define & Execute Partner Marketing Strategy & Playbook: Take complete ownership of our partner marketing function from strategy to execution. You’ll define how we get to our goals.

  • Build & Foster Strong Partnerships: Be Puzzle's main point of contact for our marketing partnership and build win-win relationships that instill confidence in Puzzle. You’ll need to find ways to create clear, measurable value for both Puzzle, and our partners that drive greater investment in partnerships.

  • Content Creation & Campaign Management: Create and execute high-impact partner campaigns including events, webinars, blog posts, case studies, and email initiatives. You'll own the full process from planning to delivery.

  • Project Management: Lead partner marketing projects from start to finish ensuring we are accountable to our partners and outcomes. This will be a highly collaborative role with a need to collaborate with leadership and your peers.

  • Prioritization & Optimization: You’ll manage competing priorities sequencing the most important work, while setting clear KPIs, tracking outcomes, and continuously improving based on data. To start you’ll be optimizing for user acquisition.

  • Seek Partnership Opportunities: Find new ways to work with partners that benefit both sides - whether that's joint sales efforts, product bundles, or creative collaborations that help us grow together.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in product marketing, partner marketing or related roles ideally in a B2B environment. Proven track record of independently driving and executing successful partner marketing initiatives.

  • Strategic Ownership: You are self-starting and can work independently in taking full ownership of projects from ideation to execution. You can give examples of full projects you’ve owned end to end.

  • Hands On Execution: Recent experience delivering copywriting, email marketing, events, webinars, PR, social media, and sales enablement are all assets. You are familiar with GTM and analytics tools like Hubspot, Customer.io, Intercom, Google Analytics, PostHog, Looker, or similar.

  • Project Management: Exceptional capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from start to finish and on time.

  • Communication & Content Creation: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of successful content creation.

  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing high-value relationships. You understand how to ensure both sides are happy and see the value in our relationship.

  • Outcome & Data-Driven: You can set the right targets and track them using a data-driven mindset. You are able to measure your impact, run experiments and consistently improve.

  • Adaptability & Experimentation: Experimentation is something you love and are able to adapt and change quickly as you learn more about your work and measure outcomes.

  • Bonus Points: Experience with fintech or accounting.
