Job Description

  • As a member of the Marketing Communications team, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of content strategy and lifecycle marketing with a focus on development of marketing materials for print, digital, web, and events, and including a consultative role in the development of strategy.
  • You will be responsible for the whole process - from acceptance of a task, through consultations with the internal client, and finally to the publication of the marketing material.
  • As a member of a cross-functional team, you will support and drive the development of content strategy and lifecycle marketing from planning to execution, including strategy and messaging.
  • You will cultivate a close relationship with our internal clients and cross-functional teams – from product management and digital business through graphic design to corporate communications.
  • With the help of your creativity and conceptual strength, you develop creative marketing material and new communication strategies, taking on board feedback and differing viewpoints where applicable, whilst keeping all work within branding guidelines.

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the fields of marketing, communications or a comparable field and/or have gained strong hands-on experience for 1-2 years in copyediting.
  • You have a true passion for highly complex marketing matters in an original and compelling way, without losing sight of the scientific value that underpins it, and can help foster the marketing skills within our teams.
  • First-hand experience and/or a scientific academic qualification in biotechnology / diagnostics / medical marketing and/or sales and/or PR are a plus, though this is not a prerequisite; rather, the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and manage projects independently is essential.
  • Your English language skills are at or near native speaker level; you will be tasked with writing texts and communicating with international stakeholders as a large part of your job.
  • A high level of initiative, flexibility, and pronounced team spirit complete your profile and enable you to drive projects forward.

Additional Information

This position is limited to 24 months and is located on site in Bergisch Gladbach.
