Senior DevSecOps Engineer

[Chennai/Gurugram], India

We’re passionate about using technology to drive sustainable solutions for our clients and society. You too? Join us as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Ramboll Tech / in the [DPE] Digital Product Engineering Team and help us become the leading Tech-Enabled Partner for Sustainable Change.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As our new Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a global role in implementing DevSecOps processes and tool chain for Ramboll Products within all our business units. Our Platform Engineering team helps improving our tech-enabled consultancy business through fit-for-purpose DevSecOps tool chain and related advisory services. You will be part of a global team working out of the Nordic countries, Germany, USA and India. We have a strong collaboration culture and retain high employee satisfaction.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • BE/BTech in Computer Science or BSc. in Computer Science or similar
  • 7+ years of experience in the IT industry in general
  • Minimum 4+ years of practical experience in a DevOps role
  • Experience with Agile developments (e.g. Scrum)

Core Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps (Azure Pipeline), Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible (preferably in Azure) and automated infrastructure deployments
  • Experience working with containerisation and artifact management tools like Docker, Artifactory
  • Familiarity with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • (optional) C#, .NET, Java, Python for automation and integration
  • (optional) Test Automation frameworks: Selenium, Robot Framework or similar

DevSecOps:

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development lifecycle
  • Experience with static and dynamic security testing tools (e.g., SonarQube, optional: SNYK, JFrog Xray)
  • Experience with metrics and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana[SS1] [MC2] , Splunk
