MTS Logic Design

Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional SMTS Logic Design to join our Retimer product team in Bengaluru/India. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.

 

As a SMTS Logic Design, you’ll play a pivotal role in (add brief overview of key responsibilities and impact). In this full time role, you’ll report directly to SPE. Our Retimer group is dedicated to providing solutions for PCIe Gen5/Gen6/Gen7 retimers, and your contributions will be instrumental in successful tape-outs with our retimer product(s) for various customers.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of design updates for a few modules for Retimer IP
  • Ownership of architectural updates of a few modules and/or datapath
  • Customer support
  • Support verification team
  • Dial into calls during evening/morning to sync up with the teams in USA and Europe

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
  • 2 years of solid logic design experience. Must have actually done RTL work and not just lint, cdc flow runs.
  • Knowledge of Serdes protocols desirable.
  • Knowledge of SDC, synthesis, timing and backend desirable.
  • Good academic credentials. Must have consistent academic performance and from a reputed institution.
