Revenue Manager (Bilingual - English/French Required)

This is a Hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office up to 3 days a week.

The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing the Company's revenue through the development and implementation of effective pricing procedures and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement revenue strategies and guidelines across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, sales and marketing teams to drive development of revenue strategies and performance goals for all retirement residences (Seniors Apartments, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and ancillary services) and to achieve revenue budgets, forecasts, and market share targets;
  • Maximize revenue and profit streams through the analysis of site revenue budgets, forecasting, pricing, demand analysis and business mix optimization;
  • Optimize revenue generation opportunities through competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modeling, pricing concepts and through third party market data;
  • Develop, manage and maximize suite rates and rate strategies to achieve consistent, overall, occupancy goals and address site specific occupancy targets;
  • Work closely with property development to assess revenues associated with new and existing properties;
  • Develop, maintain and communicate a revenue management scorecard to identify and measure success against targets;
  • Prepare and communicate revenue management reports to the Retirement Leadership Team;
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure effective application of revenue systems, and best practices among all residences;
  • Develop strategies to maximize additional revenue opportunities created by renovations and other capital enhancement projects;
  • Uphold and promote the organization’s values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity; and
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on Economics, Business, Finance or Statistics
  • 3-5 years of progressive revenue management experience in a large, matrix organization, preferably within the senior living and hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in revenue management systems, property management systems and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of Yardi is an asset.
  • Proficiency with interpreting data to identify past and future trends to communicate business needs
  • Strong understanding of revenue management concepts, processes and systems, particularly within hospitality or a service based industry
  • Ability to operate effectively across various departments and management levels to resolve issues and achieve targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency working within a large scale, collaborative, regulated operations environment
  • A passion for seniors; making decisions that ultimately support a resident’s independent needs, choices and preferences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required
