As an embedded engineer at Robust AI, you will join a small, fast-paced team working to design and deploy the next generation of warehouse robotic systems. Working with the other engineers on the team, you will help develop firmware for our robotic systems, including actuation, sensors, and displays. You will also help debug, iterate, and test hardware on our current robot fleet. You will help inform the design of our next-generation robot. You are excited about seeing robots deployed at a large scale. You are someone who is comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment and can pivot effectively. The base pay range for this role is between $160,000 and $200,000, depending on your skills, qualifications and experience.

Founded in 2019, our startup thrives on collaboration and innovation, led by a group of seasoned experts in robotics and AI. As an Embedded Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and deploying our next generation of warehouse robotic systems. Your responsibilities will include developing firmware for actuators, sensors, and display systems, while debugging and testing our current robot fleet. Our fast-paced environment means you'll be working closely with other engineers, actively participating in everything from firmware architecture to hands-on debugging. You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science and around five years of experience in embedded software design, particularly with C or C++.
