About the role

The Business Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing strategies anchored on big data to hack and accelerate the organization’s growth with key executives of the organization. The candidate is focused on delivering analysis plans and generate impactful data fueling solutions and innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of business strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and vision. Work closely with leadership to define key objectives and initiatives.
2. Target Setting: Set clear, measurable targets and KPIs across various business functions to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
3. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential threats to the business. Use this data to shape strategic decisions.
4. Data Analysis and Visualization: Translate complex technical information into meaningful requirements such as data trends and insights to support leadership team in solving business challenges and blockers in a visual manner.
5. Performance Monitoring: Track the progress of strategic initiatives and targets. Regularly review and assess performance, providing recommendations for adjustments or new approaches as needed.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration, Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering: Work closely with key executive stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs and provide support including own team members.
7. Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure results are of high quality and accurate by managing the governance of data sources, reports, and dashboards
8. And perform adhoc data-related initiatives and projects

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
• 5 – 8 years of progressive experience working business analysis / data analytics / business intelligence / strategic planning / consulting with Sales and/or Operations groups
• Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Tableau which were used on previous or current work projects
• Proven track record in using data to measure performance, build tools, and make decisions
• Good logical thinking and data management / data analytical / data visualization tools
• Demonstrated ability with dealing with and managing C-suite executives
• Experience with mentoring direct reports
• Intellectual curiosity, ability to learn fast
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced / rapidly changing environment
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Tagalog
• Familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage
