Job description

ArcLight Wireless is a world-class provider of RF systems engineering, network services, and technical expertise for the cutting-edge companies in the wireless industry. We offer field test services, custom software verification, and carrier technical account management to provide intelligent solutions to our clients' issues. We are a flexible organization that can adapt to changing needs.

We are currently seeking bright, motivated wireless engineers to join our growing team in Denver, CO.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer II located in Denver, CO. The QA Engineer II will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, software testing in a lab environment and sending daily reports. The QA Engineer II will work closely with the development team to ensure software quality in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in test execution, quality assurance, manual testing and software testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with mobile device testing is a plus
• Experience with automation testing tools is a plus
• 5G basic understanding of all the major concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MediaTek and Qualcomm Chipsets
• Experience troubleshooting network and device side issues.
• Experience operating network simulator software and hardware by vendors such as Anritsu
• Experience working in a RF cellular lab environment.
• Familiar with JIRA systems
• Familiar with writing defect reports and providing excellent communication to the customer.
• 5G protocol level understanding of the NAS layer
• IMS protocol understanding
