Senior Control System Engineer

SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company. 

We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Through our portfolio of projects, we are mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 

Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Control System Engineer, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change?

Senior Control Systems Engineer

· As a team member your role will be to ensure quality in the way we build, and continuity in the way we operate and maintain the control systems, by:

· Project participation and support in Norway and internationally.

· Cooperating with other departments to ensure quality assurance in specification documents

· Systematically following up and support life cycle management for the control system portfolio in Norway and international

· Support implementation of cyber security requirements

· Establish and maintain requirement specifications and supporting documents for automation and control systems

You have experience with:

· Control systems, preferably as a supplier/software developer

· ICT, networking and Cyber Security

· Communication protocols, interface client systems, OPC UA

· Working in projects

Your profile

· M.Sc/B.Sc Electrotechnical, Cybernetics, Automation, ICT with focus on technologies in land based process industry

· A strong technical profile with an analytical mindset

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Fluent in Norwegian and English

· A team player with excellent collaboration skills

· You are flexible in terms of tasks and mobility as the role requires providing local support in different countries, and/or at site for shorter or longer periods as agreed.
