The role

As Head of Data and Analytics at Synapticure, you will be responsible for developing and executing our organizational strategy for a centralized team of skilled data and analytics professionals. Your team will drive enterprise analytics across all major business functions in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality insights that inform strategic, operational, and clinical programs. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Technology, Finance, Clinical, Product, and Operations leaders to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enhance our ability to scale and elevate our solutions.


Job Duties – What you’ll be doing
  • Performance Management & Insights: Develop standardized data architecture and dashboards to track OKRs across markets, partners, payers, and products.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with senior leadership to identify and prioritize insights that align with data-driven decision-making and organizational objectives.
  • Data & Analytics Roadmap: Partner with the product team to create and execute the data and analytics roadmap, including project timelines and tactical plans.
  • Business Intelligence Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish and improve a business intelligence center, including both self-service and standardized reporting solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Structure and lead high-performing analytics teams to support internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Clinical Teams, Growth, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Data Optimization & Tools: Define, acquire, and optimize data collection methods for analytics, reporting, and dashboard development to drive business performance.
  • Predictive & Advanced Analytics: Drive the creation of innovative predictive models and advanced analytical solutions to support clinical and operational decision-making.
  • Risk & Cost of Care Modeling: Develop and maintain patient risk stratification models and cost-of-care models in partnership with Finance and Clinical Teams.
  • Data Alignment & Governance: Standardize definitions, practices, and governance standards to ensure consistency and alignment in data and analytics across the organization.
  • Reporting & Communication: Develop easy-to-access standardized reports and dashboards to bridge the knowledge gap between data analytics and operational teams.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry regulations.


Requirements – What we look for in you
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data, product, and/or analytics with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Significant experience working with large healthcare administrative claims data, EHR/EMR data, or complex healthcare databases analyzing medical, pharmacy, and utilization data.
  • Deep understanding of FFS care, value-based care, payer models, risk adjustment, quality metrics, and healthcare compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with analytic and reporting tools as an individual contributor.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence, results-driven initiatives, and measuring performance against business goals.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills, with the ability to present data, analysis, and recommendations effectively using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience leading and executing analytics reporting tools and solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Experience working with healthcare technologies, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and practice management software.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
