Job Overview
Use your expertise and knowledge to support the Marketing teams at T-Mobile. The Enterprise Sourcing Manager is an individual contributor that is instrumental in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate objectives and operational needs. This role is responsible for the procurement of a wide range of goods and services, including marketing, creative and social services, digital marketing, sponsorships, print and tools, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. By negotiating favorable terms and managing long-term contracts with suppliers, the manager contributes to significant cost savings and enhances supplier relationships. The position involves rigorous supplier performance evaluations and scenario analysis to inform purchasing decisions and optimize spending. Through these activities, the Enterprise Sourcing Manager plays a crucial role in supporting T-Mobile's operational excellence and competitive positioning in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate objectives and operational needs.
  • Drafts, negotiates, project manage and executes contractual documents including but not limited to master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and cloud services orders.  Negotiates favorable terms and manages long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Procures a wide range of goods and services, including marketing, creative and social services, digital marketing, sponsorships and events, print and tools.
  • Conducts rigorous supplier performance evaluations and scenario analysis to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Optimizes spending and contributes to significant cost savings through effective sourcing strategies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with multiple business owners and enhances supplier relationships by maintaining clear and effective communication.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Experience in enterprise sourcing, particularly in marketing, creative and social services, digital marketing, sponsorships, print and tools. (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in managing business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company. (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in strategic sourcing, including development and management of category strategies, RFP/RFI development, and contract negotiations. (Required)

  • Negotiation- Expertise in negotiating terms and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings. (Required)
  • Strategic Sourcing- Ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with corporate objectives. (Required)
  • Vendor Management- Skills in overseeing and enhancing supplier relationships, including conducting performance evaluations. (Required)
  • Financial Analysis- Proficiency in conducting scenario analysis and optimizing spending to support budget management. (Required)
  • Analytics- Strong analytical skills to assess procurement data and make informed decisions. (Required)
  • Problem Solving- Ability to identify issues in the procurement process and develop effective solutions. (Required)
  • Business Acumen- Understanding of market trends and business principles relevant to procurement and supply chain management. (Required)
  • Leadership Skills- in leading teams and projects, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting in sourcing activities. (Required)


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge and skills in supply chain management, including procurement and sourcing strategies. (Preferred)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that signifies expertise in supply management and procurement functions. (Preferred)
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM): Certification that indicates advanced knowledge in purchasing management, contract negotiation, and supplier analysis. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $88,100 - $158,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
