The person in this role will apply sourcing policy and act as a liaison between suppliers and the entity to ensure alignment on deliverables, specifications, and budgetary considerations. The role is also responsible for generating and providing critical monthly reports that support the fulfillment team's operations.Roles and Responsibilities:• Oversee a specific supply base, including management of relationships with suppliers for PO execution and working with cross functional teams to manage problems and schedule changes which improve or minimize impact to build schedules.• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, to understand and fulfill their procurement needs. Partner with Finance to align fulfillment strategies with financial targets.• Ensure that existing fulfillment strategies align with overall business goals and product requirements. Develop and implement new fulfillment plans.• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor supplier performance and external market conditions to anticipate and address challenges proactively.• Champion sustainable and ethical sourcing practices. Evaluate suppliers based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and work towards building a responsible supply chain.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain)• Minimum of 3 years of Sourcing and/or Supply Chain experiencePreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.• Experience with military/government suppliers and/or aerospace components.• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Proficient in data analysis and comfortable using procurement software and tools.• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contracts.• Commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
