About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our data infrastructure, which will support exciting new features on our platform. In this critical role, you will build scalable data pipelines that process and manage large volumes of user activity data, making it readily accessible for machine learning models and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Design and implement robust data architecture tailored for AI-driven features, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our platform.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient data pipelines for processing user activity data, ensuring data flows seamlessly throughout our systems.
• Data Management: Develop comprehensive systems for data storage, retrieval, and processing, facilitating quick and reliable access to information.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of data quality and availability, enabling machine learning models to produce accurate and actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance the performance and scalability of our data infrastructure to accommodate growing data demands and user activity.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand their data requirements and ensure data solutions are tailored to their needs.

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven solutions.
• Pipeline Expertise: Strong expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Big Data Knowledge: Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
• Programming Skills: Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, alongside a solid understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Machine Learning Familiarity: Understanding of data requirements for machine learning applications and how to optimize data for model training.
• Security Experience: Experience with security data processing and compliance standards is preferred, ensuring that data handling meets industry regulations and best practices.
• Advanced English level
