We are seeking a Junior Systems Risk Analyst to lead and govern the vulnerability analysis and remediation support program. This role involves working closely with security, asset, and application owners to ensure vulnerabilities are identified, categorized, prioritized, and remediated on time. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in vulnerability management and the ability to drive remediation efforts across multiple teams.
Assist in vulnerability analysis, categorizing risks, and identifying remediation solutions.
Validate and track vulnerabilities, ensuring they are properly documented and addressed.
Help analyze false positives and work with asset owners to confirm security findings.
Create and maintain tickets for tracking vulnerability remediation progress.
Support meetings and discussions with asset owners to ensure remediation adherence.
Assist in coordinating remediation efforts with the Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) team.
Help track vulnerabilities that require exemptions or alternative resolutions.
Assist in generating risk and remediation reports for management.
Support efforts to improve vulnerability tracking and reporting dashboards.
Document and recommend process improvements for better vulnerability management efficiency.
To be based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a willingness to work on-site three days per week.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
1 to 3 years of experience in IT security, vulnerability management, or cybersecurity operations.
Basic understanding of vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) is a plus.
Familiarity with patch management, security best practices, and risk assessment.
Experience working with ticketing systems for tracking and resolving vulnerabilities.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
