This is a full time position with a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
The Histology Associate II primary responsibility is to assist histology with specimen processing and in the clinical laboratory. This may include receiving specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and /or preparing samples for testing and analysis. The Histology Associate II is knowledgeable with, and is a resource for others within the laboratory, the use of equipment, databases, and software applications. Maintains flexibility regarding work schedule including section assignment.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
