Specializing in masonry and concrete restoration as well as preventative waterproofing of buildings and structures, we are growing and have an opportunity at our headquarters here in St Louis, MO for a Skilled Labor Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team! Our skilled workforce is the heart of what we do — and we’re looking for a driven, people-focused recruiter to help us grow that team.

What It's All About...

We are seeking a Skilled Labor Recruiter to source and hire experienced tradespeople specializing in concrete repair, masonry restoration, and commercial roofing. The ideal candidate understands the unique demands of field work in construction and knows how to connect with hardworking professionals who take pride in craftsmanship and safety.

Is this position remote?

While it's not remote, we do like to offer autonomy in your work and offer more hybrid options post training.

What You'll Do...

  • Proactively source and recruit qualified field workers for roles such as tuckpointers, concrete finishers, bricklayers, roofers, and general laborers
  • Partner with branch managers, field superintendents, and project leads to understand upcoming project needs and timelines
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled labor candidates through job boards, trade schools, unions, career fairs, and community outreach
  • Screen candidates for relevant experience, trade certifications, work ethic, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment processes, and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Represent Western Specialty Contractors at hiring events and in local trade communities
  • Ensure recruitment efforts align with our commitment to safety and quality

What You'll Need...

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, skilled trades, or industrial services
  • Familiarity with concrete restoration, masonry work, or commercial roofing preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license; some travel to job sites or hiring events may be required
