Data Scientist Summer 2025 Intern (Campus Hires)

2OS is a niche consulting firm that provides outstanding results in the credit and risk industry. We serve a variety of clients from small fintechs to top national banks all over the world. Our team consists of skillful data scientists and business analysts who collaborate to achieve our main goal: make our clients winners. 

Our data scientist interns will spend the summer leveraging elite modeling and industry context to develop custom, practical solutions to our clients’ business problems. Their ability to understand, navigate, and manipulate a range of complex data structures enables them to work within our clients’ environments to optimally structure their data for analysis. Through collaboration, they creatively identify the most effective algorithms and modeling techniques to solve each client’s problem and communicate them in a meaningful way. 

Ideal data scientist interns are in progress on an undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field (math, statistics, engineering, etc.) and work experience or project work in a relevant field. They must be able to work seamlessly with different types and qualities of data and be able to develop a deep understanding of the business problem to identify and build the appropriate models. Complete fluency in a statistical programming language such as Python (preferred), SAS, or R is required. Experience and comfort in an analytically intense environment is preferred, though not required.
